ABOUT

Sarah

This isn’t just about helping you start a fitness routine — it’s about helping you start a new chapter in your life.

My philosophy is that fitness over 40 isn’t about flooring the gas, it’s about tuning your Ferrari so it runs smooth, powerful, and turns heads without blowing the engine.

Let's go!

I built GoodEnergy for women who have done a lot in their lives, raised families, built careers or businesses, carried responsibility well, and are now noticing that the old ways of “staying healthy” aren’t working anymore.

If that’s you, you’re not broken, you’re simply in a new season.

For many women in their 50s, movement has always been part of life. Walking, yoga, cycling, classes, staying busy. But without intentional strength training and consistent nourishment, the body eventually pushes back. Metabolism slows. Weight settles around the middle. Energy feels less reliable.

What used to work… doesn’t.

My work is about closing that gap.

My philosophy:

I believe strength training is not a trend or a punishment, it’s a foundation.

Done properly, it supports hormone balance, bone density, metabolism, confidence, and long-term independence. It changes how your body uses food, how you recover from stress, and how you feel inside yourself.

But strength alone isn’t enough.

Most women I work with are under-eating protein, under-hydrating, low in fibre, and unintentionally swinging between restriction and sugar or carbohydrate overload. Not because they lack discipline, but because no one ever taught them how to eat for muscle, metabolism, and midlife physiology.

GoodEnergy brings these pieces together in a way that is sustainable, respectful, and grounded in real life.

How I work:

I've spent over two decades coaching women one-on-one and in small groups, beginning in 2000, helping them build strength, reduce pain, and feel at home in their bodies again. My work is informed by a holistic, systems-based approach to health, influenced by the CHEK Institute, and grounded in functional strength and lifestyle coaching.

I don’t chase trends. I pay attention to what actually changes bodies over time.

I run a small, intentionally designed studio focused on women’s strength training over 40. We train with purpose. We repeat what works. We progress slowly and intelligently.

There’s no pressure to perform. Just smart programming, steady accountability, and an environment where women feel seen, capable, and supported.

I care deeply about systems, because systems create freedom. You don’t need more motivation. You need a structure that works with your life.

Who this is for:

GoodEnergy is for women who are ready to stop dabbling and start building something durable in their bodies.

Women who are successful, mature, and self-aware. Women who want to feel stronger, leaner through the middle, energized, and clear-headed. Women who understand that health at this stage isn’t about extremes, it’s about consistency.

If you’re looking for quick fixes or punishment-style workouts, this won’t be the right fit.

If you’re ready to train with intention, fuel your body properly, and feel proud of how you’re caring for yourself, you’re exactly where you belong.
