What started as a jog with my Dad at age 14 soon became a love of Cross country running through high school and then teaching fitness classes as a part time job while studying advertising in T.O. I soon realized that sharing fitness was my passion. I obtained a diploma in physical fitness and leisure management in Sudbury, ON, worked as a personal trainer in the private and public sectors, and accepted awards for cross country running, body building, and nomination for personal trainer of the year with GoodLife Fitness Clubs. Moving to Collingwood and opening a boutique fitness studio specializing in women's strength training, was the next natural progression .
What sets me apart is my holistic approach to fitness. I recognize that it's not just about physical activity, it's about integrating movement into a lifestyle that prioritizes well-being and joy. My programs are designed to be adaptable, addressing your specific needs and goals, ensuring that these new habits become a natural and enjoyable part of your daily life.
My philosophy is grounded in the belief that fitness after 40 should be about enhancing quality of life, not just extending it. We focus on functional fitness that prepares you for the activities you love, supports your independence, and builds a strong foundation for years to come. It's about celebrating where you are right now and taking positive steps towards where you want to be.
Let's go!
